About Rage Company: A Marine's Baptism...
In Rage Company, Thomas P. Daly recounts his experience as a Marine officer commanding a rifle company during the November 2004 assault on Fallujah—one of the fiercest urban battles of the Iraq War. The narrative follows Daly from pre-deployment training through the house-to-house fighting that defined Operation Phantom Fury, blending tactical detail with the human dimensions of leadership. He describes the strain on young Marines, the split-second decisions that separate victory from disaster, and the moral weight of combat. Daly's prose is direct and unsentimental, offering readers a visceral sense of what it takes to lead soldiers in chaos. Beyond the firefights, the book examines the bonds of brotherhood, the grief of loss, and the difficulty of returning home. It stands as both a combat memoir and a case study in command under extreme pressure, valuable for military professionals and general readers alike.
Who should read Rage Company: A Marine's Baptism...?
This book suits military history enthusiasts, active-duty and veteran service members, and readers interested in leadership under pressure.
