About L'attacco dei giganti (Vol. 1)
L'attacco dei giganti (Vol. 1) opens in a world where humanity has been driven to the brink of extinction by the Titans, giant humanoid creatures that devour humans. The remnants of humanity live within three concentric walls: Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina. Eren Yeager, a young boy living in the Shiganshina District, dreams of seeing the outside world and resents the walls that confine him. His life changes forever when the Colossal Titan breaches Wall Maria, allowing Titans to flood in. Eren witnesses his mother being eaten by a Titan, and he vows to exterminate all Titans. He joins the military with his adoptive sister Mikasa and friend Armin. The volume ends with Eren, Mikasa, and Armin as new recruits, facing the harsh reality of their world and the terrifying power of the Titans.
